Rectifier Troubleshooting Class
This class will teach students the operation, functions, and basic troubleshooting steps for cathodic protection rectifiers. It will involve lecture as well as hands on troubleshooting.

Don has been involved with corrosion and related fields since 1982, contributing to the advancement of corrosion education by volunteering time in the presentation of training courses and seminars. Annually presents ten to twelve rectifier training courses.
A long-standing member of AMPP (formerly NACE), Don has been providing rectifier training to the industry for 40+ years and has taught thousands of CP professionals.
Don offers rectifier training classes to not only enhance general knowledge of Cathodic Protection rectifiers but also to aid in selecting the best type of rectifier for the specific application. Classes include discussions on Cathodic Protection fundamentals, general safety practices, design considerations, rectifier types, applications and selection, basic rectifier theory, installation and maintenance considerations, troubleshooting and repair, etc. In addition to the theory portion of the class, students can also expect to receive direct hands-on troubleshooting training on rectifier units.
Has been an active member of AMPP (formerly NACE) for forty years, providing leadership to two sections and the Central Area. Was involved at the National level of NACE by serving on the Policy Committee.

Students are encouraged to bring and use their own multimeters for the hands-on troubleshooting part of the class.
